Biography

I studied Forensic and Analytical Science at the University of Huddersfield graduating from a 4 year MSci course in 2009 with a 1st Class Honours. My final year project was based in inorganic synthesis under the supervision of Dr. Craig Rice.

My taught studies in final year took a direction in separation techniques and analytical instruments, which prompted my interest in Diffusion-Ordered NMR Spectroscopy. I am currently working towards a Ph.D in the research group of Prof. Gareth Morris and Dr. Mathias Nilsson working on Matrix-Assisted Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy(MAD) and "New Techniques in Diffusion-Ordered NMR".

I am also a StemNet Ambassador promoting science to young people and am actively involved with Outreach at the School of Chemistry including The Salters' Festival of Chemistry.
