New heteronuclear NMR tools for the most complex structural problems

Biography
I studied Chemistry with Pharmacology at the University of Birmingham, completing the 4 year MSci course in 2016 with 2:1 (Hons). The final year project was based on the synthesis of protein-drug conjugates as a targeted drug delivery system, supervised by Dr. Sam Butterworth.

Following graduation, I started the position of an Analytical Chemist based at Almac Sciences in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. As part of a Spectroscopy group, I focused on the routine testing of a range of pharmaceutical materials using the following qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques; NMR, FT-IR, GC, GC-MS, HPLC/UHPLC, Karl Fischer Titration and UV-Vis.

In 2019, I moved to Manchester to begin my PhD in new heteronuclear NMR tools, under the supervision of Dr. Laura Castañar Acedo, Prof Gareth Morris and Prof Mathias Nilsson.
