GNAT - the General NMR Analysis Toolbox

A beta test version of the GNAT, a new software platform for processing and analysis of NMR data, is now available for download at http://nmr.chemistry.manchester.ac.uk/?q=node/430.

SMASH poster award

Pinelopi Moutzouri, who won a JMR Young Scientist Award at the EUROMAR conference in Warsaw in July, has added to her successful summer by winning the best poster prize at the recent SMASH conference in Baveno, on Lake Maggiore. Her prize includes a year’s free subscription to the journal Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry. The poster described a new experimental technique that solves a long-standing problem in pure shift NMR, allowing systematic artefacts to be suppressed to arbitrary order without compromising resolution or sensitivity.

Workshop on pure shift NMR

Copies of slides for the talks given at the Workshop on pure shift NMR, Manchester, 12th Sept 2017 can be accessed via this link.

A data archive containing pure shift pulse sequences, processing software and sample experimental data is available for download via this link.

Financial support from the EPSRC is gratefully acknowledged.

EUROMAR 2022

We were lucky enough to have several members of the group present their latest research at the EUROMAR 2022 conference in Utrecht.

JMR Young Scientist Award

Pinelopi Moutzouri received a Journal of Magnetic Resonance Young Scientist Award at the recent EUROMAR conference in Warsaw. These awards are given to graduate students or post-doctoral fellows “whose unsolicited submissions for an oral presentation have been selected based on excellence by the EUROMAR scientific program committee”, and come with a cheque for $500.00, a one year electronic subscription to the Journal of Magnetic Resonance, and a certificate.

James N. Shoolery Award
